John Legend Not Bothered About Gay Rumors

Since entertainer, R & B song writer, and singer, John Legend's first block buster CD, "Get Lifted", the rumors have started about his sexuality. Perhaps because he's a classy, well educated gentleman and not thuggish. Perhaps because he writes from his heart, and appears to be sensitive.

Maybe because when he plays the piano, and sings, it comes from a place of his truth, its honest and raw. And lastly, in the past he has refused to answer the question.

It's said that when he appeared on the Wendy Williams radio show, she asked if he's gay and he refused to answer the question, which further made many think that the rumor had some truth to it. Metro-sexual, maybe? Whatever the reason, its been said that he's gay.

When confronted with this, John insists that he's not gay. It's been said that he's dating model, Christine Teigen, for over a year now. The wonderful thing about John is that he doesn't get upset about the gay rumors, which shows that he's comfortable with himself.

He's been quoted as saying, "You can't let that get to you, you just have to keep living your life." A lot of our straight brothers of color who are in the entertainment industry would be upset, whereas John doesn't see that being gay is wrong or weak. Don't believe the blogs, don't believe the newspapers or magazines that claims he's gay, he's not.

If you do not know what this show is about, its a platform where you can perform your special gift, no matter that talent. Example: If your talent is to make animal sounds, its a place where you get show America, where you could get national exposure.

However, I tried to watch his last HBO special that he recorded in three different places around the world. I couldn't get pass the first half hour as every other word was f*ck this and the "N" word that. Call me old fashion, but he can be funny without every other word being a curse word.
Mr. Kanye West will not be charged with felony incident that happened on September 11, 2008. The Prosecutors of Los Angeles have decided not to file charges against the Superstar Rapper and his manager.

As you may recall the camera men were in Kanye's space at the airport and the brother wasn't having it, so he went off. A camera was broken and the media tried to make more out of it, than it really was.

Most entertainer's don't mind the celebrity but sometimes, I imagine its just too much. And to be honest, we don't need to know their every waken moment. Also for the most part, Kanye is a good guy, its nice that L.A. saw it for what it was.

By Entertainment Correspondent, John Frazier

The Diva Ms. Dionne Warwick has been extremely busy as she continues to sing around the United States and around the world for that matter. Now she can add to her resume as she's just released a children's story book, titled, "I Say A Little Prayer."

She appeared on some of the morning
news shows promoting this new
project that's close to her heart. The
title of the book, of course, is the name
of one of her many famous songs,
however, the idea of writing a book
was planted years ago as many
of the publishing houses have
asked her to tell her life story.
Ms. Warwick explained that
her upbringing was a
simple one, as she had
both of her parents,
mother and father, who
loved her, she didn't have
a hard luck story to tell the
world, and she thought
that her story would
be boring.

Finally one of the
publishing houses said,
"Write something,
anything!" She thought
and prayed about it,
finally deciding to
write about a subject
that she knows about,
she knows about
children.

That's when she decided to write, " I Say A Little Prayer", a children's story that tells a story about a little girl who has a talent. According to her bio, it describes the book : "Little D” is ambling through childhood like any other little kid-enjoying her family and neighbors, her pet dog, her hobbies, and school-when one day she discovers that she has a special talent.

In her first-ever singing performance in front of an audience, Little D brings the house down! And she discovers, with her grandfather’s encouragement (“If you think it, you can do it!”), that everyone has a special talent and it’s up to each person to find it, embrace it, perfect it, and enjoy it!

The book includes audio CD featuring an exclusive recording of the gospel song “Jesus Loves Me” (the first song young Dionne performed before an audience, as told in the book), as well as a reading of the book by Ms. Warwick."

Dionne laughed when the interviewer told her that the drawings of the little black girl in the book, looks like her. Perhaps that's because she has put so much of herself in this book.

It's not a book just for children of color but for all children and adult's, alike. With the holidays coming up, this would make an ideal gift to give to someone special, that little boy or that little girl or perhaps that adult that needs that extra encouragement. Dionne wants the reader to know that if you believe it, it can be done.

Wow, this is amazing, just the other day, the publisher of GBMNews.com and I were chatting about Stage and Screen actor, Mr. Avery Brooks. He commented how his mother, may she rest in peace, was a huge fan of his, when he starred on "Spencer For Hire", as the educated thug, pimp. Perhaps, she should take a page out of Mariah Carey's book, since Mariah seems to always have something fresh and new.

On a up note, Janet starred in Tyler Perry's, "Why Did I Get Married" last year. The movie screen loves her. She's a natural. The music industry is always changing, but Janet's music has not in recent years. This comment has nothing to do with liking her, I love Janet. The die-hard Janet fans, may disagree with my statement but look at the sales.

This may not come as a surprise as the pop diva told Billboard that she was not sure of her future with the label, but you would think that since its top man, Antonio L.A. Reid, who's in charge that the relationship would have been ended differently.

Maybe the diva should take a break from music, till she's able to create sometime new. She's in her 40's now, maybe trying a more mature sound might work, as the young generation are listening to a different kind of beat. Perhaps being in "control" is the problem.

Wow, GlynnTruman has been in the game for along time, as I remember him from a 60's series called, Peyton Place. Originally, it was a movie that starred actress Lana Turner, then it was made into a television series which featured a young, Ryan O' Neal, Mia Farrow, Barbara Parkins who later did "Valley of the Dolls", Lee Grant who became a director, the late Ruth Warrick who later was on Soap Opera- "All My Children", Ms. Rudy Dee and Ms. Judy Pace, who I believe played Glynn's girlfriend.

It was definitely one of the many first in television land, where you saw Africian American people living and experiencing normal lives. I remember that I would pretend that I was asleep, but could see the television from my bedroom. Peyton Place was like Dynasty, full of adult drama. In later years, Glynn appeared in varies movies but I'm sure a lot of people remember him from the series, "Different World." He was also married to the Queen of Soul, Ms. Aretha Franklin.

It's hard to believe that the veteran actor is 62 years old. He was given an Emmy for being, "Outstanding Guest Actor" in a Drama Series. The series is "In Treatment."

I'm extremely happy for him, and I wish I had watched the Emmy's this year, so I could have witness this win, but I decided to watch the new HBO series, "True Blood." Oh well.
