Lets count it up, first Lil Kim, then Foxy Brown and now its Da Brat, sentenced to do three years in the big house.

The fight happened on October 31, 2007 at a party for Jermaine Dupri, a Halloween gathering for the rich and thuggish crowd. The young "lady" that Da Brat cut will suffer permanent damage to her face, so you know that this isn't the end of this. I'm sure that Da Brat and the lady will find themselves in court again.

We preach and teach our young children not to fight. We preach and teach our people of color, our brothers, our sisters, not to fight, to stop the black on black, brown on brown crime, but it appears that its falling on deaf ears.

This is a crying shame.

Rap Artist Ludacris Speaks Out, "Right or Wrong?"

Entertainment Correspondent, John Frazier

Ludacris is urging, by rap, for our people of color and young adults to get out the vote. He believes that the vote should go to Senator Obama. This is the positive. However, what's negative, right or wrong, are the lyrics:

1. In regard to President Bush, "don't belong in any chair unless he's paralyzed" (This is a fate that no one should endure and it's not a laughing matter).

2. He claim's that President Bush is "mentally handicapped" (they're people who are born with this condition and should not be made to feel less of a person, especially if he or she dislikes the current Commander In Chief.)

3. & 4. Comments on Senator Clinton and Rev. Jesse Jackson (perhaps some share this feeling that Senator Clinton and Rev. Jackson are in the way, but its not something that you want recorded for the country and the world to hear.)

Yet we live in a country where we are allowed to express ourselves. It's Christopher Bridges aka Ludacris right to express himself. Like it or not. He also mentions that Senator Obama as President should paint the white house, the color black. This incites fear in others who are not black. Intelligent folk are very much aware that Senator Obama would not hire Snoop Dog for his Vice President. I'm not hating on Snoop Dog, but in reality, this is not going to happen.

The media attention made what Ludacris said more important which they gave it "legs" and much more coverage, as for those who are not rap fans became curious about what the rap super star had to say.

We are a country of many colors, so if we were to paint the white house, it should be painted the color of the rainbow, with black at the bottom.

Like it or not, it's Ludacris right to shake it up if he wants to, just like its my right to say that the white house, once President Obama takes office, should it be painted, the colors starting from the top and working its way down, should be as follows: "red: light", orange" healing", yellow: the sun, green: calmness, blue: art, lavender: The Creator's spirit" and black: Aids awareness (for victory over AIDS). The black stripe is also known as leather, but that would be no more. Make the gay flag universal.

Yep, damn it! I said it. It's my right, just like it's yours, right or wrong to express yourself. That's what being an American is all about!

By Entertainment Correspondent, John Frazier

Some of you may recall that a few months ago, I reported this little nonsense article that claimed the following: Talk about stupid marketing ideas, but Taco Bell has made an offered to rapper, 50 Cent, to change his name for one day, to 79, 89 or 99 cent. This is some promotional theme, "Why Pay More" value menu.

Well let's move to the present, the hip hop giant 50, Curtis Jackson, cents, is suing the restaurant Taco Bell chain for using this theme idea without his permission. I can recall when I wrote the article I thought it sounded a little strange especially for an entertainer who's extremely serious about his talent.

One of Taco Bell's spokesperson's has said, " We made a good faith, charitable offer to 50 Cent to change his name to either 79, 89, or 99 Cent for one day by rapping his order at a Taco Bell, and we would have been very pleased to make the $10,000 donation to the charity of his choice."

However, it's believed that Taco Bell promoted this campaign without permission and without paying Mr. 50 Cents the multimillion dollar fee that it would have cost Taco Bell for his services on any level.

You have got to give it to the brother, stupid isn't his middle name. Taco Bell has been known to give its customer's the sh*ts, may have stepped into some.

Lets stay tune.

When I was informed that Lil Wayne's latest release, "The Carter III" had gone platinum in it's first week, I thought, "Who?"

Now yes, there's definitely a generation gap, as I only know a few of the top selling rap artist. Kanye West, Jay-Z, 50 Cent and ? Well, I know three. Damn, thank God I'm not someone's life line on "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?"

Lil Wayne's, born Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. fans call him Weezy? Why? Is he related to Isabelle Stanford or Sherman Hemsley of the Jefferson's? Well, regardless, this young man has cracked the million mark, gone platinum due to selling 1,005,000 albums in his first week and counting. Riding with my sister in her car today, his single came on the radio, she was all excited.

I just don't get it. I don't have a clue, however, continued success Lil Wayne. Prior to this, country western singer artist, Garth Brooks held the title. I didn't understand that either.
