Recently, I was listening to a famous talk radio show. One of the guests is a regular, who is a pastor and holds a doctorate, very enlighten person. The second guest a pastor, as well and lives in NC also very enlighten. Things were going good conversationally, until I heard the topic of homosexuality.
My ears perked. To make a long story short, what I heard was in short is that homosexuality is a disease, a discomfort in spirit, which one pastor stated. The second pastor noted that HIV/AIDS is brought by homosexuality. Don’t quote me directly on that, but something to that effect. A caller chimed in and said she doesn’t believe a homosexual should be playing the organ if they are trying to get their life right.

The pastors agreed. So, the host went on to sum up their thoughts. “So, you’re saying that they should not hold any type of auxiliary position?” “Yeah” she replied. Then the call was disconnected. You know what the sad thing is? Many of us homosexuals believe those two pastors and that particular caller. We often believe the things that were taught to us as children, yet we don’t challenge them, even as adults. It’s going on 36yrs since I been on this earth and I’ve heard it all in regards to homosexuality. And there are a lot of us homosexuals that believes homosexuality is wrong, yet we do it anyways, “The bible says its wrong and I believe its wrong but….” Yet and still they still sucking away.
Some of the most conflicted people I’ve encountered have been homosexuals. A lot of us are homosexual and really don’t understand why we are or what homosexuality is all about. Majority of us think it’s about looks and sex which is a small part of it, but in all honesty homosexuality is really emotional based, an altruistic love that you have for the same gender, a deeper love. It is innate, untouchable that goes beyond the parties and the physical. How one should live their life is their business. I’m not here to judge and I don’t know the great mystery if homosexuality is truly right or wrong or just what is? But what I know for sure, is that I’m an adult and with that comes responsibility. Whatever decision I make, I will live with that until the end comes.
I don’t believe homosexuals started HIV/AIDS. That’s scientifically impossible. Yes it originated somewhere, but it is impossible for a sub culture to START a disease. I refuse to believe such nonsense. That’s like saying blacks started sickle cell. Now if you were to talk about characteristics of STD’s that’s a different story. But I know this. I will continue to live my life as I see fit and within the universal law. When judgment day comes I will accept whatever decision that is placed before me. For I live my life as I see fit.
I need only one judge.
