Celebrity Rumors
Now this is what I just don't understand about my fellow homiesexuals ~lol~
We finally get a few black men to stand by us and show their respect, considering us gay men to be human beings for a change, and what do we do? We bitch about them being in the closet, jack off to their pics, then gossip like chickens and spread all types of rumors about them. One minute you're all upset about people in the entertainment industry dogging us out, calling us all types of f****ts and making songs about us or going on national television to tell the world that they can't stand us, and when a few of our entertainers are gay friendly, you turn them into "closet cases." Now, whether they are or not, keep in mind that the last time we had somebody stick up for us or show us some respect, it was another gay man or a "f*g h*g," so to speak.
Case in point #1. Raz-B.

Yes, he is fine. Yes, he did perform at a gay venue for a gay crowd. Yes, he did TOUCH ONE HIV AWARENESS ISSUES on a gay show ~Noah's Arc~, and yes, he does have the lips, body and booty to make both sexes go crazy. But so does Denzel, and Larenz, and Will, and so on and so on. Now nobody said anything about Wesley Snipes telling Vida Bohem about how he does "not. do. the bus. You must have me mistaken for Miss Rosa Pawwwwwks." Uh huh. Nobody said shit about Keanu Reaves, or Will Smith, or half of the other celebrities that have played gay roles and actually got busy on the screen. Now rumors circulate around many people, but damn. Can you think of any other way to say thank you rather than running someone's sexual orientation in the dirt? That's how people start to HATE "faggots", when they become ungrateful. Feel me? Poor dude caught shit because of a f***king mohawk...I didn't know that was a gay thing. Did you? Hmm? Oh, okay.
Next dude to treat us like humans in the entertainment industry...Kanye.

Lord, have mercy. This Black, male entertainer sat on national television and told America, and his boys, to "Stop it. Just stop it." Now whether some of us admit it or not, that's what we've been WAITING for. Because you know damn good and well if you get an open gay man on TV saying "Stop it," it becomes a laughing stock. "This faggot done jumped on TV begging the world to leave him alone" is EXACTLY what it would be turned into if one of us got up there. But someone else did it for us!! Hello!!
But I guess that makes the man gay ~rolls eyes~ Oh, and John Legend, too.
Next...Puffy
I forgot exactly what he did...I think it was a speech he did at gay pride, if I'm not mistaken. Now, instead of seeing Janet or Madonna, we see a Black entertainer who comes from a business that doesn't condone, promote, or accept homosexuality, and he's becoming a BIG name in music. In front a whole bunch of gay dudes, on a day that we celebrate our courage and lives. But what done happened soon after that? "OOOOOH girl Diddy was at pride miss thing! I told you he was trade!"
Uuuuh huh.
Two words...Marcus Patrick

In the words of Alex, "And ain't no use in lyin' cause he iiiiis fine. I mean FIIIIIIINE!" That's not the point. Are we seeing a trend, here? These days, any attractive man that comes close to the word "gay" in any way shape or form ~he did a cameo as a gay dude on My Wife and Kids~ is deemed as a closet case faggot. Now that's just bullshit, lies and fabrications. Personally, I thought the episode was funny as hell, because dumb ass Junior didn't have a clue as to what was going on lol. And yes, Marcus tapped him in the ass. But nobody said anything when Leonardo Di Caprio was fucking the shit out of that old dude in that movie he did back in the day, or got his dick sucked in a stall for some cash in that basketball movie. ~Okay now let me look these up since I know SOMEBODY is gonna want the names of the movies lol~
Total Eclipse and The Basketball Diaries.
And YES, let's not forget...Noah's Arc

Exactly. Now from what I understand, there are two actors on that show that will admit they are gay. I kinda figured Chance and Alex ~Douglas Spearman and Rodney Chester~ were truly part of the family. Now, as for everybody else? WHO CARES? I mean speculation and common ground are one thing. But the reason why I get so aggravated is because it goes from general discussion to a bunch of shady queens ~I don't give two shits if you're trade, cunt, b-boy, queen, hell you can be a damn tranny. Just don't give SHADE as your daily standard offer to the universe...THAT is a turn of to your looks, personality, and entire being as a whole~
Now what was I saying anyway...oh yeah, shady queens. The ones that you can FEEL the k-kitty-k-k-k-kitty kawnt ~I love that song~ energy flowing through their condescending bashes of their own family ~homosexuals~ and/or people who are accused or speculated to be gay or bisexual or what not. Would you like an example?
"Miss thing, Mother Alex was CHOPPED in that episode did you see her makeup? Bitch I gagged. SHE need to get with the de-ga-ga and pump herself to the beauty counter. That's why Trey cheatin' on his ass!"
Where's my Lil' Kim CD...SHUT UP BIIIIITCH! You get someone on TELEVISION that you can relate to, laugh with, and get an empathic feeling for, and you sit there and talk mess? Now didn't Kim say it's usually the ones that look a mess that like to talk, or something like that? Uh huh. Catch.
"He's gotta be one of the girlz if he's up there kissin' on my man like that." Meaning the actor has to be gay if he's gay on TV, kissing the gossiper's apparent fantasy boyfriend. Hell, we all had a thing for Noah and Wade. But my thing is, I really don't think when Patrick Ian Polk felt the need to create a groundbreaking BLACK GAY show, he specifically sought out gay men. I think...now I could be wrong...that he looked for actors that could play the role, be comfortable in their own skin and their sexuality, and help take a stand against society, the media, and ignorance in general. I mean correct me if I'm wrong. Yeah, Darryl ~Noah~ went on to do Another Gay Movie, and Jensen ~Wade~ posted a bulletin on MySpace saying he'll be playing a bisexual warlock or something like that in his next project. As for Christian ~Ricky~, he did something about angels, I forget what it was. And yes, he's been choreographing for years now. So, he dances. Whoop-T-Woo, he can dance. Is that a problem?
While the majority of us are embracing these actors and the characters they portray, as well as their careers outside of Noah's Arc, FAR too many of us are focusing on too much petty shit. It's almost as if actors and musicians that we once thought of highly, or raised the question about their sexual orientations ~I hate the word 'preference'~, it seems once they do something that has the word "gay" attached, there's a stamp that falls down on them that runs their names in the dirt by not only straight men, but gay men. That just doesn't make sense to me. Especially when someone is out there doing something for us. Yes, doing something. Entertaining us, raising awareness issues. Whatever.
And you know who's been doing the most damage? Shady gay dudes. Now ain't that a bitch? Ready to take your earrings out and wreck shop ~sorry I LOVE that phrase lol~ when Busta or 50 or Buju comes out their faces about faggots and bati-boys, but when PEOPLE, bisexual/gay/straight WHATEVER have the balls that most of us DON'T ~!!!! yeah i said it!!!!~, they catch hell in one way or another. And even if they don't, there's always that one person that's got something shady coming out their mouths. And like I said, it's not even the straight community that's got much to say about it. It's us! WTF?!
Of course there hasn't been that much attention surrounding these things as when they first came about, but look at a lot of these gossip columns and blogs, coming down on our own people. "She's chopped, she's through, she needs Botox, her Black done cracked," whatever. Black on Black isn't as much as an annoyance to me as Gay on Gay. Get mad if you want to, but y'all gettin' on my nerves >o(
I guess the reason I put this up is because someone on MySpace finally had to raise hell, and I completely agreed with him. I told him on behalf of the rest of us that I was sorry for the bullshit he had to put up with, and felt really bad because it takes bigger balls than half of us have to do what he does and put up with the drama that goes with it. I just thought I'd reiterate and put it out there in my point of view.
