I am a Christian
I am a Muslim
I am a Jew
I am a Santero
I am a Hindu
I am a Buddhist

But most of all I am. Yes I was created by the most powerful energy in this universe, GOD. Although he may go by many names he is still worshipped by all these different types of faith, so why must we fight amongst each other the way we do? Some may say that Armageddon is coming but what people don’t realize is that it is already here, why do we keep fighting a battle that’s not even our? Why do we keep focusing on the trivial things in life? Why is there no love for mankind? And, why are we allowing ourselves to be treated the way we are? These are the questions that I would like answers for! Perhaps the questions may not seem important to many but they are to me. First I would like to start with NO ONE, WANTS TO BE GAY, WE ARE BORN THIS WAY. WE DO NOT HAVE A PROBLEM BEING THIS WAY, SOCIETY DOES.

Some people may come into this as a sexual venture and end up enjoying it and feel that this is the way, some may like both, but what about us the one’s who are born this way and have known this since childhood then what? It seems the more thing change the worse things are getting. I read how all of these political people, actors, and ministries are making these drives to help stop the spread of AIDS in Africa, but what about the people here? It seems to me that although there are religious groups that say they stand behind us, it is only a mere few who actually give a dam about what really happens. Looking at the spectrum of what this society is becoming. It only validates the attitudes of the youth today, seeing how the latest victims of HIV are children from 13 thru 22. And, yet the still act like nothing is wrong, Is this the way we want our children, or our children’s, children to go, I think not. I feel that there are big Gay organizations that are well equipped to make a march onto Washington, the way the million man march or other marches have been done, we must educate ourselves and learn how to fight with words, not violence.

Learn that the bible only has 3 comments in the whole entire bible with references to homosexuality and even then it’s really not clear. Learn that the ignorance of our own people, Gay people of color, blacks as well as Latinos is what has allowed this nonsense to continue, I am not an advocate for Homosexuality I am merely an advocate for God. We are not in the stone ages, so why allow the Churches or the Government to dictate to us how we should live. We need to stop focusing on trivial things such as which singer hates gay and which one’s do not, we must gather up strength and let these religious groups know that there God is our God as well, and this is the way he created us.
