One afternoon in November 2005, at the Atlanta Live, a porn actor took a close look at a guy who seemed to have the potential of being a porn star. After they talked for a while, the actor introduced himself as "ThugZilla", gave the guy his information, and said, "If you're interested and want to try it out, call me and come to my site." Two weeks later the guy took a plane to do his first porn.

And from there a new porn star was born.

I present to some, and introduce to others, Mr. Saukei. He's 25 years old, and is blessed with a beautiful two- year-old daughter. A few months ago, Mr. Saukei received a phone call from his mother. She, as well as other family members, friends, and her church heard the news that he was performing in porn movies. Despite all the gossip, his mother just wanted to hear it from him. She let him know that she loves him, and urged him to do whatever he wanted to, as long as he was being safe while doing it.

Mr. Saukei returned home for Thanksgiving dinner with his family and friends. He was surprised and pleased by their welcome, just as if everything was normal. No one ridiculed him; they all accepted him with open arms and love, and the day went on as any other holiday gathering would.

Dewey: Mr. Saukei, what age were you when you realized you were attracted to your own sex?

Saukei: I was in elementary school, around the age of 10 or 11, when I noticed that boys attracted me more than girls did. The first time I had sex with a guy, I was 17 years old. I was kind of nervous and a little worried, because I was a virgin who had never had sex with a female. The first sex I ever had was with a male, so I felt like I lost my virginity.

 
Dewey: Can you explain in your own words the good side of doing porn and its benefits?

Saukei: Well, it allowed me to be more open-minded and spiritual. I was able to do more traveling than I would have done otherwise. I've been to places such as London, Hawaii and Canada. I've also been features in magazines - just to name a few, Clik , Black Inches, and Flava Men. I've hosted parties at various places, and was also nominated as poster boy for the "Miami Sizzle" Gay Pride.
Dewey: Awesome, man. Now tell me in your own words the bad side and its disadvantages.

Saukei: I feel it does not give people the right to think that because I am a porn star, I will or must have sex with them. They fail to realize I'm only doing this because of the money.That is the only reason; it pays the bills and support my living expenses. I feel if I can get paid to do what I do, why should I do it for free?

Dewey: Do you plan on making a career in the porn field?

Saukei: I don't think I'll continue doing porn as a career. I'm looking at the "bigger picture," going more into producing and filming porn. You know, it's funny - I really never looked at porn. I waited until I got grown to see it, not to mention actually doing it. I was always scared to watch it. Now look at me - I'm a porn star! This goes to show you, miracles do happen.

Dewey: How long was it before you just accepted that you were gay?

Saukei: When I was 22 years of age, I looked at myself and said, "I am who I am. As long as I am happy with it, everyone else has to accept it or just move on."

Dewey: Tell me, are you single or in a relationship at this time?
