I would like to believe that I'm a student & teacher of life. At the beginning of 2007, I relocated from NYC to Charlotte, NC. I've written 4 books of poetry and have just completed my 1st novel. I would like to believe that my life experience may be able to educate others by seeing the world thru my eyes. There's always a point of view, & I'd like to add my flavor. I'm an extremely private person, however, I believe that I can speak for the voices that need to be heard. Perhaps it's old news but after Tara Banks told America that whoever didn't like the extra weight, could kiss her big black....now we hear that the beautiful former model is living in fear, due to some nut case stalking her. Brady Green from Dublin, Georgia aka "stalker" was arrested for getting just a little too close.

The New York Post reported that Green attempted to meet Ms. Banks, and was turned away. A few hours later someone saw Green sitting at McDonald's, not far from the studio that shoots the "Tara Banks show", waiting for the beauty. The police were called and he was arrested and charged with harassment, criminal trespassing and stalking. Green claimed to be homeless, the judge issued an order of protection for Tara, however Green was still released. I'm sure this is what frightened her, the fact that this person could get so close to her and if he's crazy... how many times have we heard or read that a famous person was harmed or killed by someone who claimed to be a fan. John Lennon and David Letterman come to mind.
Now I hear that the new, successful, "Oprah" for today's female youth, Tara, may be stepping down from "America's Top Model." I'm hoping that this is just another rumor but my sources claimed that she and the other executive producers are not in agreement. If this rumor turns out to be true, its no reflection on Tara as she created a totally new kind of reality show. Many reality shows after have copied the same formula of this original vision that came to life.
Everything that Tara has touched has turned to gold. I even enjoyed her extremely brief singing/dance video career. The girl can dance and the singing was, in my opinion, just as good as many of today's female singers. And if you are a fan of Tara's, you know that she's always singing when she's interviewing someone that sings for a living. And Tara's also an excellent actress, remember "Soul Food" on Showtime? She played the fourth sister.
Hopefully we will have another few years of "America's Top Model", which has empowered many women and, lets pray that this "nutcase" will decide to go back down to Dublin, but not the one in Georgia, the one in Ireland, and disappear.
