I would like to believe that I'm a student & teacher of life. At the beginning of 2007, I relocated from NYC to Charlotte, NC. I've written 4 books of poetry and have just completed my 1st novel. I would like to believe that my life experience may be able to educate others by seeing the world thru my eyes. There's always a point of view, & I'd like to add my flavor. I'm an extremely private person, however, I believe that I can speak for the voices that need to be heard. Sexy, hot, tough, street, sister-girl, rapper Remy Ma's perhaps was just a little too gangster in real life, cause the lady's going to jail. She was heard screaming, "Oh my God!" " My son, my son!!" before letting the tears fall. Her young son was at home, not aware of the fate that his mom would be facing. Ms. Ma was found g-u-i-l-t-y and could spend up to 25 years in jail.

It amazes me that you can kill someone and be out of jail in less time than if you shoot the person and they survive. Remy fans were extremely upset by the court's decision. The drama started when Remy and buddy then gal-pal, Makeda Barnes Joseph were hanging out and Remy noticed that $3,000.00 was missing from her pocketbook. She demanded that Makeda open her pulse. Makeda refused and Remy take out her.45 and shot her in the stomach. You don't play with folks and their money.
Remy said that it was an accident. Makeda felt differently and so did the courts. It was reported that Remy dressed to impress, appearances in court were sexy, hot, flamboyant and the four inch or more heels, didn't help the final decision. Remy will be sentenced on April 23rd.
My black brothers and sisters, we have got to have more respect for each other. Whatever the situation, shooting each other isn't the answer. Perhaps Remi will have more than enough time to sat back and think about her cause of action.
