I would like to believe that I'm a student & teacher of life. At the beginning of 2007, I relocated from NYC to Charlotte, NC. I've written 4 books of poetry and have just completed my 1st novel. I would like to believe that my life experience may be able to educate others by seeing the world thru my eyes. There's always a point of view, & I'd like to add my flavor. I'm an extremely private person, however, I believe that I can speak for the voices that need to be heard.

It appears that its so easy to get divorced these days, or does it appear that way, when you are on the outside looking in?
Different World diva, Jasmine Guy and her husband, Terrence Mitchell Duckett, are calling it quits after being married for nine years citing irreconcilable differences, which means, "none of your business!" Which is probably best when you have children. Jasmine and Terrence have a 9 year old daughter.
The interesting thing about this separation, as there are currently divorcing is that Jasmine wants to claim separate property, whatever is Jasmine's belongs to Jasmine and whatever is his belongs to him. I'm not sure how that's going to work out since in California, I believe everything is split down the middle but I could be wrong.
Jasmine thanks everyone for the well wishers, and has requested that the public leave them alone with this extremely private matter. Hopefully for all involved this is over with quickly, otherwise, the media will be right there, all up in your business.
