I would like to believe that I'm a student & teacher of life. At the beginning of 2007, I relocated from NYC to Charlotte, NC. I've written 4 books of poetry and have just completed my 1st novel. I would like to believe that my life experience may be able to educate others by seeing the world thru my eyes. There's always a point of view, & I'd like to add my flavor. I'm an extremely private person, however, I believe that I can speak for the voices that need to be heard. You read right, Diana Ross, Patti LaBelle, Chaka Khan and Gladys Knight in concert at Radio City on May 4, 2008. It's a benefit for the Masonic Medical Research Laboratory, on the Square Productions in association with 98.7 Kiss FM presenting "Divas With Heart."
Bernie Williams will host this event which will have other surprise guests. Tickets are starting from $69.50 to $504.50.

I also heard that Aretha was going to appear but perhaps the Queen had other things to do, or she might be the mega surprise guest. The evening is suppose to be of old school and new school divas under the musical direction of Paul Gemingnani.
You know if I had the money, like $504.50 to spend on this magically evening, I would attend. I'm sure the $69.50 are the nose bleed seats.
What I'm excited about is this will be the first time that Lady Ross has shared billing since the early Motown days when she, Mary and Florence were the "no hit Supremes". I wonder about the order of performance. I hope that this event will be recorded as I would love to have this on DVD.
I can't wait to hear about the supposed drama back stage, but I have a feeling that since the divas are seasoned in life, each one will be professional and loving, after all they don't have anything to prove. Each one is unique in her own way.
