It wasn't that long ago that America's hatred of "People of Color" was the norm and those who didn't share this hatred had to live in the shadows. Now there's a new kid on the block to hate and it's the homosexual male, at least , that's what today's rappers would have you to believe, and yet, we, the homosexuals chose to look the other way. Many of us prefer to live life on the down low, thinking that this existence will make one less gay.

We purchase the music of those who have called us out of our names, and shown hostility and spread fear. How many of us have made rappers like, "50 cent', who has gone on record to say, "I ain't into faggots", richer when we block out the lyrics and just dance to the beat.

How is it that we spend our dollars on artist who are extreme in making more than a few of us feel self hatred, and prefer to have sexual encounters late at night when the city is asleep, and you want to feel, touch, taste, inhale the scent of male. After having your black "inches" satisfied, giving and/or receiving, you return to your life of lies and not being true to one's self.

Since the entertainment industry is all about money, we should stop immediately, buying the CD's of those who hate us. Would you purchase something from a member of the KKK? Many parts of the world, to be gay is a sin but from the bible that I've read, so is hatred. Am I not your brother if I prefer to sleep with a brother? I didn't choose to be gay just like I didn't choose to be black and/or male. We are who we are for a reason. God does not create error, and we are all God's children.

Terrance Dean is about to release a book, titled, "Hiding in Hip Hop." I'm sure this release will cause a lot of drama. I know for a fact that some of the hip hop stars have had encounters with other males, as they were feeling, "freaky" and wanted to get their "freak" on.

If you are gay you should boycott any hip hop artist who promotes hatred, period. And for that matter, you should come out of the churches also, that promote hatred of something that you, yourself, have no control of. It amazes me that the hip hop artist will collect our dollars, they will market the hip hop artist in our direction, making us desire them by appearing in underwear ad's or sexy shirtless CD's covers and photo shoots, for money is money. On occasion some have slept with us, yet, for fear, will want to stone us.

Mr. Dean's book is set for release in May 08. Will he name names, I doubt it. There are clubs and bars in England and other parts of the world that have banned music, that engages in hate.

I've even had encounters with one or two hip hop brothers who knew that I can do it better than their girlfriend or wife, of which I'm not proud of. I'm not putting the sister's down, I'm just stating that we must stop the hate and be true to ourselves, then we wouldn't have to worry about being exposed or living life in the closet. The record industry will listen if we stop buying their CD's and stop viewing the movies of rappers turn actors, who are responsible for the "Matthew Shepard's" in the world.

Rapper's preach of killing us, of burning us, of beating us, and yet we buy the latest CD, so we can be cool. We also dress like them, wearing the baggy pants, the oversized shirts and the unlaced sneakers. We, even, talk like them, calling everyone, calling your homeboys, nigger, a word that enslaved us, we are now embracing it. That's just stupid! Many of us, when listening to the lyrics, will pretend that its not about himself. But if you like men, if you are sleeping with men, if you are having sex with men, and you are a man, then, yes, my darling, its about you. Your DMX, your Jay Z's, your 50 cent CD's, and any other's recording artist who hates you because you are you, throw them in the garbage.
