One More Time, Ms. Tina Turner!

I would like to believe that I'm a student & teacher of life. At the beginning of 2007, I relocated from NYC to Charlotte, NC. I've written 4 books of poetry and have just completed my 1st novel. I would like to believe that my life experience may be able to educate others by seeing the world thru my eyes. There's always a point of view, & I'd like to add my flavor. I'm an extremely private person, however, I believe that I can speak for the voices that need to be heard.

Announced on the Oprah Show, Tina Turner will be touring the United States one more time! I think that after performing with Beyonce at the Grammys on February 7, 2008, the lady from Nutbush, born Anna Mae Bullock on November 26, 1939, who is one of American's Treasures, she dances, she's a songwriter and it an actor, may be coming your way.

I've seen her a few times just before the "What's Love Got To Do With It" and just after its release when it was making some musical noise and I must say that this warrior-lady is "simply the best!" Both shows were at NYC's Ritz.

She now lives in Switzerland with her lover of 20 plus years and this grandmother can move better than most 20 year olds.

She performed with another ageless lady of rock, pop and disco, Cher on the Oprah Show and the two of them on stage were magic. Hopefully Vegas will offer Tina a 3 year gig, like Cher or for that matter, I hope Vegas will offer Diana Ross, Patti LaBelle, Aretha Franklin this kind of deal. I'm sure the divas of color would/could sell out the Vegas houses. Ms. Turner will start her tour on October 1, 2008 in Kansas City.

"I will never give in to old age until I become old. And I'm not old yet!" -Tina Turner.

When her ex-husband "Heavy Handed Ike", died, it was said that she refused to offer her condolences. Some disagreed with her reaction, however, she was being true to herself, Ike Turner was not a good husband to her. You have to respect her for that.

Now the "Queen of Rock and Roll" is doing it one more time, when she comes to your city, don't miss this event.
