Now I will probably get a few e-mails saying, who cares? But believe it or not, there are some of us who are interested when an entertainer comes out. We have a lot of our gay brothers and sisters who are still living in the closet. Sometimes it depends on what part of the country or the world, for that matter. So to answer your question, its to let others know that she or he is not alone and that they're more that we know who are gay.

 

 

The media, from the beginning,
has questioned is Clay Aiken gay?
Honey, I could tell that he was gay,
I wasn't fooled by the boy hiding
behind his geek glasses. Once he
got discovered and in the hands
of idol makers he blossomed,
like an ugly duckling to a swan.
His CD's have gone platinum,
he has a huge fan base and
he's making the big bucks.

When Mr. Aiken was questioned
about his sexuality, he replied
saying that he thought it was rude,
he couldn't understand why anyone
would want to know who he was
sleeping or had slept with. The rumors
continued. Then we heard that he was
going to become a father. But it wasn't
done the old fashion way.

A few months ago, I wrote an article
about this (published 8.23.08),
 questioning the Clay Aiken and
Ricky Martin fathering events
and, believe or not, I received a
few e-mails where readers accused
me of thinking that everyone is gay.

I don't think this, but I do believe that if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck its a duck. Not everyone who appears gay is gay, but I haven't been wrong yet.

Now what I find interesting is why now is Mr. Aiken coming out of the closet? Perhaps a bitter boyfriend, a breakup or some kind of black mail? I have a feeling that's what made the American Idol star come out.

Well whatever the reason, I'm sure that now he will appear on every major talk show and a book will soon follow.

Listen up brothers and sisters, you can only live one life and its your own, so be true to yourself. You aren't totaling living your life, if its in the closet.

 
Oh, and by the way,
Lindsay Lohan has decided
to come out of the closet. After
months of hand holding,
gentle kissing, and the media
following. You have to wonder
if she's for real? It seems
that our society readily
accepts our gay sisters
coming out, since its a
straight man's fantasy to
see two women getting it on.
Her coming out wont
damage her career.
I think I'm going to come out of my closet, its time to let everyone know that I'm straight. Not!
