What is the first thing that tempts you to pick up that unfamiliar book or magazine? What is a key ingredient that lures us to watch a television shows or a movie? If you guessed imagery, you are the winner of the prize.

I for one am very guilty of watching films or flipping through magazines without even thinking of the eye candy's creator. Shame on me, shame on us all, that we seldom recognize those who take the time to deliver us such delightful stimuli for our eyes.


  

 
I first came to know Michael R. Moore on myspace, and although his profile was set to private at the time, the bold profile picture that sat before me (which practically jumped off the screen), enticed me wanting to see more.

I promptly requested him as a friend, and within minutes, I was instantly granted access into the unknown. I had stepped into a surreal magical world not knowing what image to focus on first.

 

 
Michael was first introduced to photography by the father of a childhood friend. Although shy, the curious Michael had the courage to ask the kind man how he did "IT." Deciding to never be bored, Michael began taking pictures at the age of six, and mastered mixing his own chemicals for developing a year later.

Mr. Moore attended Skyline Magnet High School in Dallas, and originally wanted to take up cinematography, but was left slightly disappointed because all the classes were full.

 

 
As a second choice, he took more photography classes but didn't want to. "I come from the FEEL IT school," meaning that photography is something that can't be taught but is more of an emotional art. "School was very technical. Lectures, Graphs, and Math ... Oh My," he goes on to say.

Although Michael's first love is black and white imagery, he has done what a number of artist should do, keep an open mind to change. He decided to take courses in photoshop only to take his work to another plateau; and from what I have seen -he has done just that…

 

 
As time progress, we can be certain to see more of Mr. Moore's talents. He has several exhibits coming up in the near future. Now living in Los Angeles, Ca. Michael has remained humble and is willing to work with almost anyone.
 

 
For those wanting to pursue a career in the world of photography, Michael advises that people should, "ask the questions ... and "feel" the answers in your gut. Know the difference between a picture and a photograph.
 

 
   
 
Dream B.I.G. you'll not ever fall short. Feel "IT!" with Love!" When asked if he had a person(s) in particular he would like to see in front of his lenses, he politely responded, "President Obama, and you, Rudy Reed".

I guess that once shy boy has blossomed.
