I would like to believe that I'm a student & teacher of life. At the beginning of 2007, I relocated from NYC to Charlotte, NC. I've written 4 books of poetry and have just completed my 1st novel. I would like to believe that my life experience may be able to educate others by seeing the world thru my eyes. There's always a point of view, & I'd like to add my flavor. I'm an extremely private person, however, I believe that I can speak for the voices that need to be heard.

I've always thought that a re-make of "All About Eve" with a black cast, would be an excellent movie with Diana Ross starring in the Bette Davis part, "Margo Channing". I've also commented on how we as a people of color have not tapped into our rich culture and that we should use our seasoned actors, actresses, singer etc. in our entertainment productions. It's like there's one group of actors that are used in every film, its time to improve and change.

Well according to Black Voices at AOL, the Director, script writer and actor, Mr. Tyler Perry is trying to get Ms. Diana Ross to star in one of his next movies. I think it's a wonderful, if Mr. Perry can make this happen, as we haven't seen the diva in a movie on the big screen in a long while. It's been said that movie parts for people of color are far and between but as the diva as said, "You have to create your own destiny".

Excerpts from the  Black Voices  - Tyler Perry interview:
Black Voices: Is the script ready?

Tyler Perry: The script is done. I wrote it in 1995. I have to do a rewrite, and I don't do rewrites.

Black Voices: Do you have a title for the film?

Tyler Perry: 'A Jazz Man's Blues.'

Black Voices: Are you stalking her?

Tyler Perry: Yes, Tyler Perry is stalking Diana Ross. I want her in the film. I've been sending flowers. I've been sending people by her. I've been sending e-mails to people who know her. I've talked to the man who walks her dog. I've been trying to locate where she's at. Is she in this part of the country? Is she doing a concert somewhere? Can I get back stage? Tyler Perry is stalking Diana Ross.

Black Voices: Didn't you reach out to her daughter, Tracee Ellis Ross, when she did your film 'Daddy's Little Girls?'

Tyler Perry: I had Tracee (Ross, Diana's daughter) in the movie, but I'm afraid I will have to go younger. I may have to go and get the baby (actor Evan Ross). If I get him in the film, then she'll come.

Black Voices: Why Diana?

Tyler Perry: Because we haven't seen her act in a long time, and because of what she brought to 'Lady Sings the Blues.' My film is set around 1947, around that same time. I would love to let people know how powerful an actress she is.

Black Voices: Is the film set in stone with the names you mentioned?

Tyler Perry: These are the people I want, and until I get them, I won't put the movie on the books.

In 1972 Ms. Ross showed the industry and the world that she was more than a singer, when she starred in the movie of Ms. Billie Holiday, "Lady Sings The Blues", of which she was nominated for an Oscar. In 1975, she starred in the movie, "Mahogany", "The Wiz" followed in 1978. "Out of Darkness" in 1994, on television was Ms. Ross' return to acting, which was an excellent film. The last film, for television, in 1999, to date is "Double Platinum" where she starred with singer, Brandy.

I'm hoping that Tyler Perry will be able to get Ms. Ross back in the film game. The camera loves her and her fans, of which I'm one, love her too.
