I would like to believe that I'm a student & teacher of life. At the beginning of 2007, I relocated from NYC to Charlotte, NC. I've written 4 books of poetry and have just completed my 1st novel. I would like to believe that my life experience may be able to educate others by seeing the world thru my eyes. There's always a point of view, & I'd like to add my flavor. I'm an extremely private person, however, I believe that I can speak for the voices that need to be heard.

This May, 2009, Ms. Beyonce Knowles will grace the cover of Vogue magazine. During the interview, the over-exposed diva speaks about her womanly curves, her lack of sleep, from having an extremely busy career, she also talks about the honor of having to sing for President Obama and the First Lady, Mrs. Michelle Obama, of the United States at the Inauguration.

| Many of you may ask yourself, Martha who? This is what was reported when Ms. Martha Reeves, now a councilwoman in Detroit, was asked about Beyonce, the Motown Diva said, "Who?" Is that bitterness? She stands on the shoulders of many beautiful black women and the next generation will stand on hers. Why are the older divas coming for Ms. B.? Don't hate, appreciate.
The public, we see the smiles and gentle way Ms. B. speaks but she's got to be tough as nails. The entertainment industry has its mixed blessings. Everyone's judging, pointing the finger. The "Vogue" photo is a different look, its serious and beautiful. Her skin doesn't look lightened, it's a beautiful golden brown. Her hair is black or dark brown. The photo is not a look that you would see on a CD cover. I would say that there's a maturity in the photo. Her eyes pull you in. It's art. It's priceless. In Entertainment Weekly, Ms. B. is quoted as saying, "It's crunch time! I've been rehearsing and trying to make sure I put my set list together. Right now I'm anxious and I can't sleep -- I'll be wanting to be at rehearsal." The lady loves to work. Love her, hate her, love and hate her, Ms. B. is a smart business woman on the move. It appears that Hollywood's using the gifted lady for any and everything, from the Oscar's entertainment, commercials, endorsements of every kind. All of this and a married life too.
