While listening to Soul Comfort, I found that nothing that I had on my mind prior to putting on the CD mattered. "Doing M' Thing," begins the compilation with its soulful bounce and Nhojj's soothing falsetto voice. This combination of elements, previously, could only be successfully executed by artists like: Will Downing, Maxwell, Luther Vandross and now... Nhojj. On the centering track, "Love," Nhojj's voice is like a massage to the brain with harmonies that melt the rest of the body into a full relaxed state. It's no wonder why Nhojj has been named #1 Jazz Artist, with such musicality and creativity how could you expect any less?
