I would like to believe that I'm a student & teacher of life. At the beginning of 2007, I relocated from NYC to Charlotte, NC. I've written 4 books of poetry and have just completed my 1st novel. I would like to believe that my life experience may be able to educate others by seeing the world thru my eyes. There's always a point of view, & I'd like to add my flavor. I'm an extremely private person, however, I believe that I can speak for the voices that need to be heard. It's only been 24 hours since the world was informed that Mr. Michael Jackson passed away. Most of us are still in shocked, grieving, but perhaps the great gloved one gave us signs throughout his time here on earth, the signs within the last few years of his complex, confused life.

| I was invited to an afternoon lunch in NYC, my hometown. The lunch was on Fire Island, a place where the rich, chic and famous, get together to gossip, trade stories and catch up on who did what, while drinking champagne with fabulous friends. Of course the subject that's on everyone's mind is "What happened to Michael Jackson?" Like many of us, this wonderful group of people grew up listening to his music. In many ways his professional life mirrored his idol, Ms. Diana Ross. Once he left the brothers behind he went from star to superstar. Now the question is at what price? | |||||

| It's the LP that also showed his new nose. Everyone loved the new look. Unfortunately Mr. Jackson didn't. With each album, he became lighter and the nose became much thinner.
Now many of you are probably saying, so what happened at lunch? But I think it's important to give a little history. After this breakthrough album, perhaps the pressure was on, plus he had his own demons caused by his father, Mr. Joe Jackson, it's been released that father dearest use to tell the musical genius that he had a big nose. (The damage that some parents cause to their children should be against the law.)

(The damage that some parents cause to their children should be against the law.) I will fast forward to lunch, a source who has been on the inside of the music industry had a conversation with Mr. Jackson around 6- 7 years ago. My understanding is that at this gathering, Mr. Jackson was so high on something, the drug is not known, however his doctor may have been in the other room, since he was on called 24/7. Mr. Michael Jackson, as he spoke about the abuse from his father and the pain of not having a childhood, he would stop in mid sentence to do the drug addict bend, this is when the drug user bends over but doesn't fall. During this conversation, the other five people in the room would have to tap him on the shoulder, where he would awake and continue his train of thought. According to my source, he and others were surprised that he didn't die sooner. I would imagine Mr. Jackson had a drug problem much longer than 7 years. Before I start to get hate mail, this is not to destroy the legend, as once the memorial services are done, the truth along with many lies are going to be on every media outlet. His fans, and I am one, are going to question, "Where was his family?", "Where was Liz and Liza?" , "Did Ms. Diana Ross know this" What about Gladys Knight? who really discovered the Jackson Five? Ms. Ross didn't but Motown felt that since Ms. Ross was a superstar, she would be ideal to introduce them to the world. Was he so powerful that he was able to hide this from his own family? But you know sometimes the loved ones are the last to know, or should I say the last to accept the truth with sensitive subjects.

| What we must realize is that with his star power, he could have gotten the drugs anywhere. Who would say no Mr. Michael Jackson? If one physician said no, he would have gone to another and during the time of his death, he had a full time doctor, on salary, to be at his beck and call. And I'm sure the amount of money for the purchase would turn any law abiding citizen into a criminal. Many are saying that this is huge, bigger than the Anna Nicole Smith drama. I'm sure soon the mother's of his children will come out of the woodwork. Blood test will be done, to prove if he is really the bloodline daddy. The custody of his kids will be questioned. And what about his estate? How will the Jackson Family move forward? How will we, his fans, moved forward? It's like Mr. Michael Jackson was a part of our families.
Were there signs that Mr. Jackson was in trouble? I would believe so. The last few years he went from a mega superstar to a celebrity joke. And my heart aches as I never thought that he sexually abuse any of the children that he was accused. In many ways, his celebrity murdered him. Imagine fighting for your life, be prove your innocence. Found not guilty, he was proclaimed innocent, but the damage had been done. And I'm sure he continued to take the drugs, doctor's best, to ease his pain. During his interview on "Night Line", we all knew that something was wrong with him. It appeared that he became more childlike, innocent and couldn't understand why he was being charged, questioned about his relationships with children. I'm sure at this time he was using drugs. Then there was the question of his skin color and the nose jobs. Recently it was released that he has 50 surgery's on his nose and at the time of this death, there was no nose, he used a plastic nose which was taped down on his face. This is also the reason he wore the surgical mask. Just in case the nose fell off, the mask would protect him from embarrassment. At lunch it was said that he didn't have any "liquid" money available and this was the reason that he was going to give us a final tour, playing 50 days straight, and this would be before touring in the states and the world. Was there pressure? Of course, how can he top yourself? There's no entertainer that could equal his genius. It's said that in one of his interviews he mentioned that he wanted to go out (leave this earth) like Elvis Presley, well it looks like he did. The world cries for the loss of him. For centuries movies will be done, books and articles will be written about this beautiful, tortured soul. You read it here at GBMNews.com
