Repost from the yahoo group.

To owner of the GBM News yahoo group,

My name is Julia Tomassilli and I am a graduate student at the CUNY Graduate Center.  I am working on an online survey study being conducted by Dr. Sarit Golub about HIV- men who've used HIV medications to prevent HIV infection.  We would appreciate if you could post a message about our study to your group.  Below is the wording we are using to recruit.

Thank you very much for your time,
Julia Tomassilli

Have you ever heard of HIV-negative people taking anti-HIV medications to prevent HIV infection? PREP (which stands for pre-exposure prophylaxis) refers to the potential for using anti-HIV medications to prevent HIV-negative people from becoming infected with the virus. Right now, there are clinical trials underway in the United States and other countries to determine whether the medication is safe and effective for HIV prevention.

We are conducting a study about people’s knowledge and attitudes toward PREP.  To learn more about the study, please visit our website:
