Kenyan artists have for the first time staged a street art festival to showcase urban youth creativity. The festival, called Sanaa Noma -Kiswahili slang for Good Art - was staged in Nairobi's Godown Art Centre located on the edge of the main industrial area.
The two week-long festival featured a variety of street art, from graffiti to sign-writing, poetry and dance stage shows and hip-hop performances.
