New York, June 25 — On August 3, 2007 the White Party Moonlight Cruise will celebrate its fifth anniversary. The party will be held this year on the Spirit of New York boat sailing out of Chelsea Piers in NYC.

James Saunders, founder of JS Presents and Umen Entertainment Group explains “There was a great need for an upscale event catering to the Black & Latino LGBT market. Five years ago the marketing company Urbane Concepts came up with the idea of a luxury boat ride on the Hudson once a year to fulfill that need. Every year since then the party gets bigger and better.”

This year the event will be onboard the luxurious Spirit of New York in New York City. In addition to a sumptuous buffet, two dance floors, four decks, and a snap crew the White Party Moonlight Cruise has excellent entertainment. The host for this year’s event is the amazing ButtaFlySoul, poet/spoken word artist, host, vocalist, actor, producer and director, native of Chicago, Illinois makes his home in New York City. "ButtaFlySouL" has been featured on 98.7 Kiss FM, Boston Comedy Club, Blue Stockings, Club Decades, and the BET/Pantene Totally You Tour with Nikki Giovanni. He prides himself on having the distinction of being one of the esteemed members of the Peabody Award winning Russell Simmons’ Def Poetry Jam family. Also featured are the legendary Lorena St. Cartier, the female impersonator and male impersonator Nico and the White Party Erotic Dancers. Every year the guests really love the “Best Dressed White Outfit Contest.” The music will be pumping all night by DJ Chip Chop and DJ Andre Collins.
