For many years men have been wearing earrings. If we go back in time, kings often wore earrings. Some had earrings in more than one ear... even in their noise. When their tribes or worshipers looked at them they was able to place them as a king or someone of higher royalty.

And nowwearing ear rings has become very common.We have gang members who wear them more than one on the ear as a sign of rank or levels.

I ask a few guy’s on the street today that was wearing one or more earrings, why they wore an ear ring? Most did not know or have a reason. Others said because it is cool, their friends wore one or one of there family members had there ears pierced. So I brought up the following questions asking their opinions.

One or more earrings in one ear?

- Many said it’s just a cool thing to do?
- Some said it’s a level of ranking in some gangs.

Earring on the RIGHT ear?

- Many feel if a man have his earring on the right ear he is
- Gay, Homosexual or a fag so to speak.


Earring on the Left ear?

- Some say if a man wears a earring on his left ear he is straight
as in heterosexual


Earrings on both ears?

- Many said if a guy wears an earring in both of his ears he is cool.
- It also can mean his goes both ways as in Bi-sexual.

To sum this all up in a nut shell. No matter how many rings a person choose to wear in each ear or the side of the ear, does not make, label or determines ones lifestyle or sexual orientation. My advice to you who reads this article. Just be yourself and don’t do things because others do it.

If you choose to get your ear’(s) pierced make sure you are satisfied comfortable with your self and once you have that attitude, it doesn't matter and only you have to deal with what you do. But most of all as long as you are not offensive and disrespecting your character and others you are around, do as you please. For everything that one do with his/her body become a language as in body language or a symbol of speaking.

And remember you are someone’s King, prince or queen.
