I would like to believe that I'm a student & teacher of life. At the beginning of 2007, I relocated from NYC to Charlotte, NC. I've written 4 books of poetry and have just completed my 1st novel. I would like to believe that my life experience may be able to educate others by seeing the world thru my eyes. There's always a point of view, & I'd like to add my flavor. I'm an extremely private person, however, I believe that I can speak for the voices that need to be heard.

The media has gone running with a quote from Mr. Hulk Hogan. The pro wrestler and reality show star, when interviewed by "Rollingstone" magazine, expressed what I'm sure a lot of ex-husbands feel, after being replaced by a younger model (man).

| "You live half a mile from the 20,000-square-foot home you can't go to anymore, you're driving through downtown Clearwater [Florida] and see a 19-year-old boy driving your Escalade, and you know that a 19-year-old boy is sleeping in your bed, with your wife... ."I totally understand O.J. I get it," Hogan said, according to CNN.
TMZ and other networks showed the same footage of Mr. Hogan saying that he totally understands why O.J. Simpson probably murdered his wife. (Now that's scary). Mr. Hogan did not say what Mr. Simpson was accused of is correct. Yet, the sister of murdered victim, Ron Goldman, was seen on the television stating how displeased she was with Mr. Hogan comments. CHRIS BROWN IN DENIAL CLAIMS RIHANNA'S DAD

"Not guilty", so said Chris Brown at the hearing for the alleged beating on his girlfriend or former girlfriend, Rihanna. Her dad, Mr. Fenty, was not pleased. "I don't want his career to be damaged -- it's damaged already. I think he's a talented guy, but everybody should have to pay. When you do the crime, you do the time. I don't want to see him locked up for a long time -- I just want him to acknowledge and get some help," Mr. Fenty was quoted as saying after Mr. Brown's plead.

| Mr. Fenty wants Chris to know that he's not getting away with it. Our society, without letting the facts come to life, still believe that a man should not hit a woman but many, it appears really could care less if a woman hit's a man. Again, I believe that no one should be allowed to hit and if Rihanna hit Chris first, then she is as guilty as he is, if its found this is the case.

Ms. Wanda Sykes has signed a deal with Fox television to star in a replacement Saturday Night show. It's said to be replacing the successful MADtv, which was cancelled last year.

It's no secret that Ms. Farrah Fawcett has been battling anal cancer and being treated in Germany, a method, experimental stem-cell treatment, not approved here in the United States. Now the cancer, its been reported, has spread to her liver.

Talk about overkill, I'm not hating Ms. Tiffany Pollard renamed Miss New York by Flavor Flav, after being unlucky in love, three times on national television, she will be trying her luck in the workplace. This continued yet new reality series premieres on May 4th at 10:00 p.m.

| Now in front of the camera's Miss New York tries her hand at seeking work. She has to pick one of three possibilities. Now if she impresses her new boss or bosses and doesn't get fired or quit, she will receive, get this, $5000.00 each week as a bonus to whatever her new salary may be. Talk about milking 15 minutes of fame into a career.
I'm sure the hi-lights of the show will be the appearance of her mother, Sister Patterson. Now this lady should get her own show and she should try her hand at acting, the camera looks her. A casting call was sent out as Mr. P. Diddy will be shooting a new commercial for his vodka. The troubling thing about this shooting is that Mr. Diddy, has informed his staff who are doing the search, orders are that the female must pass the "paper bag test". If other words, if you are darken than a brown paper bag, don't apply.

| Yep, you read right, if you (ladies) are darken than a brown paper bag, keep on walking, you are not the right look for his vodka commercial.

Madonna To Adopt Another African Child

The Material Lady, Ms. Madonna has decided to adopt another Black African child, a four year old girl. This will be the second black child who will soon have the international star, Madonna, as her mother.
| Some media are calling adopting from Africa a new trend, in like if one were to purchase a piece of jewelry. I would imagine that some of the laws may not be as difficult as in the USA, when it comes to adoptions. However, if you, the adopter has enough love in your heart for another child, that's wonderful and you are a blessing.

| The Larry King show has received e-mails from fans after the showing, who are willing give a kidney. Ms. Cole was quite shocked, amazed and grateful. Back in February 2009, it was reported that her son might be a possible match, however, the star appears to still be searching.

Another on-site-magazine mentioned that the diva Ms. Diana Ross has turned 65 year old and that now she's senior citizen.. He failed to show you what the diva looks like at age 65. This photo was taken in Paris when Ms. Ross performed at "The Monster 2009 Retailer Awards in January of this year. She doesn't look a day over 40.

There's been chit chat about Ms. Beyonce Knowles, singer turned actress, in the Sony Pictures soon to be released movie, "Obsessed". Rumor has it that Ms. Knowles in giving the performance of her life. Will we hear Oscar nominate this time?

The story line: The husband has a successful career, a beautiful wife (Beyonce) and a love affair on the side, who is his crazy temp who starts to stalk and harass him, her married lover. Sounds like a whole lot of excitement and drama. The interesting thing is the viewer doesn't know if the affair is real or all in the crazy temps head. Other actors in the film are television's "Christine Lahti, Jerry O' Connell and Bruce McGill. I can't wait to see it. |

The Evolution of Recording Artist, Raphael Saadiq

It's amazing when you follow the musical growth of Raphael Saadiq. He's come a long way since he formed and performed with the R&B group, Tony! Toni! Tone! But even then he stood out, he had and has that "it" factor. Right after high school, he had the opportunity of joining Prince and Sheila E. before stepping out on his own and creating "The 3 T's.".
| The group members of "Tony! Toni! Tone!" is Raphael's brother, Dwayne Wiggins (Raphael's birth name is Charlie Ray Wiggins) and cousin, Timothy Christian. The two mega hits that got the public's attention were "It Never Rains (In Southern California)" and "Feels Good". Raphael stood out.
He was unique in the way he dressed, pushing the envelope in fashion. And his soulful singing style was fresh and new, yet had a touch of yesterday. At the groups' career height, Raphael decided to leave. This is almost 20 years ago. In the 1990's he wrote two singles for movie soundtracks but its said that he was not comfortable with his new solo artist status and decided to take some time off to regroup. What surprised his many fans is when he returned, reinventing himself with "Lucy Pearl", it was a whole new sensational. |
| The members of "Lucy Pearl" were Ali Shaheed Muhammad of "A Tribe Called Quest", former En Vogue member, Dawn Robinson and an extremely talented band. Unfortunately this band also had a short life.
I'm not sure of the reason but perhaps "Lucy Pearl" was too gifted a group. After there was the return of Raphael through his first solo CD, "Instant Vintage" which earned him five Grammy nominations, another project touched by his genius. Raphael continued to be behind the scenes, as well, producing recording artist such as D'Angelo, "How Does It Feel" which won D'Angelo a Grammy for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance and a Grammy for Best R&B Song. Also exciting is that Raphael has worked with the best in the music industry: Whitney Houston, Teedra Moses, The Isley Brothers, Mr. Stevie Wonder, The Bee Gees, Jess Stone and the list continues. |

| In London, Rapper Kanye West has lashed out at people claiming that he dresses like a 'gay', insisting that it is just his creative mind that is responsible for his bizarre outfits.
Lashed out? I'm sure it was more of his getting the media's attention. Also he is correct, not all male designers are gay. But probably most. (smile) The 'Good Life' hitmaker, who will soon be launching his own jeans label, claims that he is immensely creative, and that is the reason why his dressing statement is likened to gay men. I agree with Kanye. Not every black male wants dress like Puff Daddy or L. L. Cool J. Kanye's designs will also change what is considered dressing straight and dressing gay. And at the same time it might be that much needed connection through fashion that will unite society. | ||

This lady means business. After being behind the scenes, the XXX talent has decided to step out front. Her first released, "In A Perfect World…" will become a break out hit CD for Ms. Hilson. She sings, she writes, produce, as serious as she is beautiful.
| In what may appear as an overnight success is further from the truth. This young lady was quoted as saying, "In school, I would get in trouble for singing all the time." Keri impressed her piano turn voice teacher, which was her beginning. Music was in her blood.
On her new release, " In A Perfect World…", she sings about all sides of love, what's going on in the streets", she's that new voice for woman. She's sexy, smart, beautiful, shows strength, and has studied for she is definitely ready. This is a put "in it on" "set the mood" and "sit back, relax" kind of CD. Plus the lady can sing. On this CD, its nice to finally hear a CD where the person can really sing. It's not about vocal tricks, its about tapping at the heart of music listener. | ||

Dance Club Genius Recording Artist, YUKSEK

This new dance track has got to win for best 2009 recordings. The club release, "Tonight", it takes you back to 1980's, when the music of Donna Summer and Giorgio were played in the disco clubs. The music pulls you in, you get lost in its brilliance. If this single, "Tonight" is marketed right, this song will be the front runner and will probably win at the next Grammy Awards.
| It's just that hot, if you love dance music, disco, music and opera. All four mixes of the single, "Tonight", each is great in its own way. My personal favorites are # 3. RAC Remix and # 4. The Bewitched Hands On The Top Of Our Heads - cover, HOT!
