John Frazier

I would like to believe that I'm a student & teacher of life. At the beginning of 2007, I relocated from NYC to Charlotte, NC. I've written 4 books of poetry and have just completed my 1st novel. I would like to believe that my life experience may be able to educate others by seeing the world thru my eyes. There's always a point of view, & I'd like to add my flavor. I'm an extremely private person, however, I believe that I can speak for the voices that need to be heard.

Lou Rawls biopic to be played by Isaiah Washington

By Entertainment Correspondent, John Frazier

According to "Black Voices Blog", former "Grey's Anatomy" star, Isaiah Washington will star in the Lou Rawls biopic. Perhaps this will be the break that Mr. Washington needs after it was said that he made racist comments about one of "Grey"s fellow actors, who happens to be gay. Pathway Entertainment has acquired the script 'Through the Eyes of a Son,' which was written by his son Lou Rawls Jr.

Lou Jr. will also serve as one of the movie's producers and has co-writer's and co-producers of his script, Dimi Sloane and Robert Egan.
I'm sure that many of Mr. Lou Rawls fans will be surprised to learn that he had so many more talents. He's one of the few performers, who was indeed a perfect role model. You never heard gossip about the man who once sang with the great Sam Cooke. After he continued moving forward as a solo act, singing gospel, jazz, R&B and pop and became one of the classiest, top-drawer performers of his generation and generations to come.

It's wonderful that our stories, people of color, are being told. The Richard Pryor and the Marvin Gaye stories are being made. It's been said for years that Ms. Pearl Bailey's story is in the works and that Ms. Queen Latifah may be cast as the gifted performer. I can't wait to see some of our heroes on the big screen.

Isaiah Washington Faces Eviction

By Entertainment Correspondent, John Frazier

It's been reported that the gifted actor and the former "Grey Anatomy" actor, Isaiah Washington and his wife face eviction. Documents  filed in Santa Monica, CA, claim that the Washington's owe $100,000.00 in rent, rent payments are $20,000.00 per month for the Venice, L.A luxury home.

Just  a few days ago it was released that the actor has been signed to star in the "Lou Rawls" biopic as Mr. Lou Rawls.
It's seems that Mr. Washington will forever by branded with the "anti-gay slur" claimed that he said on the "Grey Anatomy" set. I'm sure a lot was learned that situation. There was something to learn for all of us.

RIHANNA AND TATTOO?

By Entertainment Correspondent, John Frazier

It's been reported that the "diva in training" is sporting a new gun tattoo on her ribcage. The tattoo artist who is responsible for this new art work, claims that the permanent gun design shows power and that Ms. Rihanna is a powerful woman.

Rihanna's been seen out and about and not with Chris Brown. But this isn't strange since when the two were officially together as a couple, many times Rihanna preferred to be seen and photographed alone.
This isn't Rihanna's first tattoo but for some reason the media is making a big deal out of the gun tattoo. She has one tattoo on her index finger, that's spells, "Shhh", then there's the Pisces sign tattoo on her right ear. Tattooed from her neck, down her back are stars.

Hopefully the young girls of this generation will not follow suit and make "gun" tattoo's the new hip thing to wear permanently on their skin.

Jada Pinkett Smith On Gay and Open Marriage Rumors

By Entertainment Correspondent, John Frazier

Ms. Jada Pinkett Smith has been quoted as saying, "I definitely respect and understand people's curiosity, but people, they have to trust me when I speak on my truth...If I say to you, 'I don't have an open marriage,' 'No, we're not gay,' and you don't trust that, well then there's nothing that I really have to say to anybody about anything, because at the end of the day, I'm living my life, and I'm happy."

For years its been said that Will and Jada have an open marriage, in other circles its been said that Will and Jada are both gay or bi-sexual and have a "don't ask, don't tell" relationship.

Now we know if Will and Jada decided to come out of the closet, if they are gay, it would destroy the careers of two beautiful, talented people, especially in the black community. Many of us are so beaten down with religion, and are hooked on "God didn't create Adam and Steve but Adam and Eve…." Our community hasn't learned how to love unconditionally.

To many in Hollywood, the same sex thing and the bi-sexual thing has been replaced with the labeled as being "sexual". However, whoever's doing who, it shouldn't really matter if you enjoy the talent of that person. Black people wake up!

And I agree with Ms. Jada, she's living and loving her life and she's happy.

The re-birth of The Funky Divas: EN VOGUE

By Entertainment Correspondent, John Frazier

Throughout the years, prior female groups have said that they were inspired by the beautiful funky divas, En Vogue. I can recall the first time I heard them on the radio singing the intro of Smokey Robinson's, later Michael Jackson's, "Who's Lovin You", which lead into "Hold On To Your Love", I was hooked.

At this point, no other female singing group had the glamour lead by the 1960's girl group, "The Supremes". The difference is that all four ladies could sing lead, and each one had/has her own unique personality. Unfortunately during the group's first run, Dawn Robinson left the group, and was replaced by another lady that never really was embraced by their fans.

When Dawn spoke to "Jet" magazine, she told them, "Now it's our time again. It's not about pushing anyone out of the way. It's time to come back and finish what we started." The divas are also featured on the cover of March 16, 2009 "Jet" magazine, for the complete interview.

Not even "Destiny's Child" had the sophistication, the refinement and vocal power of the funky divas. En Vogue are expected to release a new CD sometime this year and will announce tour dates.

Welcome back ladies, we are in hunger for some real singing.

In the last few months, since the Rihanna/Chris Brown saga, Ms. Oprah has featured a few of her shows on domestic abuse. She's had media darlings on her show such as Tara Banks discuss personal encounters with this sensitive subject.

Now today, actress, Robin Givens has jumped on the bandwagon to discuss her "abuse" when she was married to former boxing champ, Mike Tyson.

It appears that many may have forgotten the triangle relationship that Mr. Tyson experienced as when he married Ms. Givens, it was said that her mother was also a part of this 3 sided affair. The mother and daughter were accused of using the uneducated yet naturally gifted fighter. For a moment, Ms. Givens and mother were the most hated women in the United States. It's interesting that now, since the Rihanna/Chris Brown drama, now the public and Ms. Oprah have embraced the once fallen actress.

Within the last few weeks Ms. Oprah has featured about three shows on domestic abuse. On the episode with Ms. Givens, are former domestic abuse men, husbands and boyfriends who are suppose to give an insight on why such animals beat up on women. What I find interesting is that this show (as the others) talk about the abuse towards women. But what about the men who are abused by women, wives, girlfriends even mothers. A man can not call the police and charge that he's getting his ass kicked by his wife or girlfriend. It would become a laughing matter.

It would only be fair to focus on the forgotten victims, men who are abused by the opposite sex. And what about the gay men and women who are involved in domestic abuse relationships. Where's the voice of that forgotten helpless person or group of people? It appears that our society has a hard time realizing some men are abused by their partners. This is also a problem within the gay community. Many gay men (and women) endure abuse mentally, physically, emotionally, sexually and spiritually. No different than our straight brothers and sisters.

Are the television shows discussing this to educate or shock the viewer? Ms. Oprah informed, "Three women die from domestic abuse everyday". Perhaps with such shows and media interest, the laws will become tougher and the punishment will be more strict, severe and harsh. Hopefully this will happen sooner than later. We don't need to lose another life due to this domestic cancer.

Beyonce On the Cover of May's Vogue Magazine

By Sr. Entertainment Correspondent, John Frazier

This May, 2009, Ms. Beyonce Knowles will grace the cover of Vogue magazine. During the interview, the over-exposed diva speaks about her womanly curves, her lack of sleep, from having an extremely busy career, she also talks about the honor of having to sing for President Obama and the First Lady, Mrs. Michelle Obama, of the United States at the Inauguration.

No one dare ask about the Beyonce/Etta James feud.

Nor the Aretha/ Beyonce fend.

Not even the Martha Reeves/Beyonce fend.

Many of you may ask yourself, Martha who? This is what was reported when Ms. Martha Reeves, now a councilwoman in Detroit, was asked about Beyonce, the Motown Diva said, "Who?" Is that bitterness? She stands on the shoulders of many beautiful black women and the next generation will stand on hers. Why are the older divas coming for Ms. B.? Don't hate, appreciate.

The public, we see the smiles and gentle way Ms. B. speaks but she's got to be tough as nails. The entertainment industry has its mixed blessings. Everyone's judging, pointing the finger.

The "Vogue" photo is a different look, its serious and beautiful. Her skin doesn't look lightened, it's a beautiful golden brown. Her hair is black or dark brown. The photo is not a look that you would see on a CD cover. I would say that there's a maturity in the photo. Her eyes pull you in. It's art. It's priceless.

In Entertainment Weekly, Ms. B. is quoted as saying, "It's crunch time! I've been rehearsing and trying to make sure I put my set list together. Right now I'm anxious and I can't sleep -- I'll be wanting to be at rehearsal." The lady loves to work.

Love her, hate her, love and hate her, Ms. B. is a smart business woman on the move. It appears that Hollywood's using the gifted lady for any and everything, from the Oscar's entertainment, commercials, endorsements of every kind. All of this and a married life too. Who said you can't have it all?

By Sr. Entertainment Correspondent, John Frazier

It saddens me to announce that the wife of the great entertainer, Mr. Sammy Davis, Jr., Mrs. Altovise Davis died at the age of 65 from complications of a stroke. She and Mr. Davis were married for 20 years.

Bio: Born on August 30, 1943 in Charlotte, North Carolina. She grew up in Brooklyn, New York to become trained and respected dancer and actress.

She and Mr. Davis met in the mid 60's, when he had the lead in the now famous play, "Golden Boy". The relationship blossomed when she joined Mr. Davis, as a dancer, in his nightclub act.
They married on May 11, 1970. The two adopted a son in 1989.
Mrs. Davis had a career of her own, where she appeared on various television shows, such as Charlie's Angels and was a part of philanthropic organizations and was also a part of non-profit organizations which raised monies for various programs, such as child abuse.

However, I believe that her most important role was to be the wife of Mr. Sammy Davis, Jr. When you saw them you could tell that it was pure love, he loved his Altovise and she loved him. Mr. Davis died in 1990 of throat cancer.

I would imagine that when Ms. Altovise was about to go through that door of the hereafter, I would not be surprised, if Mr. Davis was there waiting.

Rest in peace Mrs. Altovise Davis.

America's Top Model Chaos, Tara To Blame?

By Sr. Entertainment Correspondent, John Frazier

On Saturday, March 14th, at the casting call for the fabulous reality show, "America's Next Top Model", thousand's of "wanna be" models, heard someone yelled, "there's a bomb!", or something like that and the crowd just went crazy with fear. Panic spread like a wild fire.

Published in People magazine: Police did not say what caused the disturbance but were forced to shut down the casting call, and arrested Michael Edwards, 24, Vanessa Quinones, 20, and Clem Clemmons, 40, on charges of disorderly conduct and inciting to riot, according to the The Times.

People are taken to area hospitals. The mayor, Mike Bloomberg, blamed Tara and her production company for not informing the New York Police of the possible crowd. I guess Tara didn't use her crystal ball.

The model, actress turned multi-talented entrepreneur, the beautiful diva, Tara Banks, is being blamed for a situation that she could not foresee. All major media reported this, calling it a "chaos".

Another source: It was pretty scary," Jessica Paravati told MyFOXNY. She said she was caught up in a stampede after waiting on line overnight, hoping for a shot at stardom on the reality show.

Since we live in a time where everyone is looking for 15 minutes of instant fame, everyone present will have a story to tell. It's said that Ms. Banks is very upset about this situation and has her people looking into it. She's also told the City of New York that she will assist in anywhere she can.

New Rap Group, GS Boyz & "Stanky Legg"

By Sr. Entertainment Correspondent, John Frazier

One thing, among many, that can be said about rapper, Soulja Boy, is that he's originally. Now we have a new rap group called "GS Boyz", who are trying to ride on the coattails of Soulja Boy.

The group have created a new dance, which isn't really all that new or unique. Soulja Boy showed us how to do the "Superman", whereas GS Boyz' dance isn't a hard dance to learn since you are stepping back and forth, shaking the booty, doing some "jumping jacks" then you're wiggling down to the floor and this is the "Stanky Legg."

The music isn't all that either. Computerized music, baggy clothes (according to the fashion magazines, the baggy look is so last year's look), fireworks and words, "Stanky Legg" roll across the screen in bright block letters in the video. Cheap but it will probably make a lot of money.

Will it sell? Probably since some of today's youth are more into the beats of a song, than the talent. On their my space page, profile views are 685727 and counting. I'm sure I've stepped on a toe or two.

Interested anyway? Check them out, you will be able to hear them sing too: MySpace/GSBoyz

It is in the water or what? Another singer, gospel great, BeBe Winans, was arrested for domestic abuse. This happened days after his close friend, Oprah, on her show, dedicated a full hour on domestic abuse. BeBe's ex-wife claims, during an argument, the singer pushed her onto the ground.

Now did he really do this? Perhaps with the Rihanna/Chris Brown saga, others are coming out the closet in regard to domestic violence. The claim that the ex-wife, Debra Winans states, is it fact or fiction?

The argument is said to be over the children that that the two of them share. Mr. Winans was arrested on March 11, 2009 on a misdemeanor domestic assault charge. A statement was released by Mr. Winans publicist on Friday, March 13th.

"To be accused of these allegations, which arose out of a child custody right dispute and my desire to spend time with our children as court ordered, is nothing less than heart wrenching. Since I choose to say nothing negative about my children's mother, I will make no comment other than to say the allegations are inconsistent with my character and the foundation upon which I was raised and I am prayerful that the matter is straightened out very soon for the sake of our children."
Were the children present when this disagreement took place? We don't know at this time. Unfortunately, it appears that all of a sudden domestic assault, domestic violence in becoming more common, more than most of us realized. It is indeed an issue that we need to addressed immediately.

I REMEMBER YOU: Ms. Sarah Vaughan

By Entertainment Correspondent, John Frazier

Ms. Sarah Vaughan is right up there with Ms. Ella Fitzgerald. What Ms. Vaughan could do vocally was mind-boggling to the ear. She was often called "Sassy" and "The Devine One".

She was born in Newark, New Jersey in a deeply religious family who were active in the church.
During her teens she sang in some of the jazz clubs in the Jersey area, even though she was under age. But the big break came when she performed at the famous Apollo theater, she, age 18, won the Amateur Night, she sang "Body & Soul". Later Ms. Vaughan was contacted by the Apollo to open the show for the lady of song, Ms. Ella Fitzgerald. I would have loved to have been in that audience. Ms. Vaughan also credited the man with the golden voice, Mr. Billy Eckstine who helped her career. He asked her to join his band and to be one of the featured singers.

As for hit chart credits: " Black Coffee", " I Cried For You", " Misty" and in later years, my personal favorite, " The Island ", are priceless. The first gold record was for a song that she wasn't crazy about, "Broken Hearted Melody". She never got the huge media respect of Ms. Ella, but within the industry everyone knew that Ms. Vaughan could "blow", there were times that she could use her voice like a trumpet.

For years she was a featured singer at the first "Newport Jazz Festival". Some of her albums were produced and arranged by Mr. "Q" Quincy Jones, Mr. Benny Goldman, Billy May to name a few.

New Recording Artist: Utada - "Come Back To Me"

By Entertainment Correspondent, John Frazier

Wow, why haven't I heard of this young lady who's known around the world as a superstar. According to her bio: Hikaru Utada is one of the biggest pop stars in the universe. Over the last ten years, her accomplishments in Japan are simply staggering.

Her 1999 debut First Love is the country's biggest-selling album of all time, and three of her albums rank among the Top Ten best-sellers. She has had 12 Number One hits, including four songs in Japan's all-time Top 100. 2001's Distance had the largest first-week sales for any album in Japanese music history, selling an astonishing three million copies. In total, the young singer has sold more than 52 million albums.

Also from her "My Space" bio: But unlike most pop starlets around the world, Utada is also a songwriter and producer; indeed, she says that she thinks of herself as a composer more than as a performer. And on This Is The One, her new Island Def Jam album [featuring ten self-penned songs produced by the powerhouse producers Stargate (Ne-Yo, Rihanna, Beyonce) and Tricky (Britney Spears, Madonna, Mariah Carey)] 26-year-old Utada reveals the unique sense of songcraft that is poised to make her a force in the US and European music communities.

"Come Back To Me" Beyonce would have done, yet Utada adds a little of Japan in the flavor of the music which makes it magical.
Her "My Space" has 789044 views thus far. Utada's father, Teruzane Utada, is a record producer and her mother, Junko Utada, is a singer and actress. As you can see this young lady has show business in her blood.

"Easy Breezy" check out Utada's video on YouTube.

WATCH OUT ELECTRIK RED ARE COMING!

By Entertainment Correspondent, John Frazier

Electrik Red, this girl group could be compared to "The PussyCats Dolls, however, the Electrik Red are more nasty, tasty, alluring, urban, rough, more soulful and more bad in a good way. Electrik Red are touring with Lil Wayne and have just released the video to the groups new single, "So Good".

The songs on this CD are pure sexual fun and speaks the language of the girls in the hood. The ladies are sexy, rough and don't take no sh*t. Perhaps they're the "Mary Jane Girls" and "Vanity 6" of this generation (Nasty Girl).

On def jam's website you can click to see the videos for "So Good", "Friend Lover" and "Drink in My Cup", also available on YouTube.

According to Vibe magazine: Their partnership began five years ago when two sets of childhood friends-Lesley and Binkie are native New Yorkers; Sarah and Naomi are from Toronto-danced on Usher's 2004 Confessions tour. The four video vixens worked their collective industry connects until Def Jam Recording's late Executive Vice President Shakir Stewart set up an impromptu audition with label chairman Antonio "L.A." Reid.

The article went on to say: They've got looks, legs, and lyrics. But, according to Harlem-bred Binkie, what sets them apart from other chick cliques are their "coochie coupons." She's just kidding, but there's something to her answer. It's not the suggestion that they'll give up the goodies for a track-it's their free-spirited, unapologetic sexuality. "It's about being real," Sarah says. "Everybody's a goddamn freak. We just have a different perception of what being a lady is." But are all the ladies on message?

I have a feeling that the "divas in training" are going to have everyone talking about them after a while. The ladies are seasoned performers, having worked with Usher, Mariah and Ciara.

Recording artist: CHRIS CORNELL - SCREAM SUCCESS!

By Entertainment Correspondent, John Frazier

It appears that Chris Cornell, who sang with rock groups, Soundgarden and Audioslave has decided to go in a different direction, vocally and has succeeded. The producer, genius, Timbaland has produced another Grammy award winning CD, its title is "Scream".

Scream
Chris Cornell

At first listen, "Part of Me" ending with "Watch Out", you are captured. It's the kind of CD that you can put on and let it play. It's not too R&B, more pop and with beats. If you like Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado, you will enjoy this product.

Cornell is not stranger to success as he with the first American male signer to pen the theme song for the Bond movie, "Casino Royale".

My favorites are: "Part Of Me", which is really, "that Bitch ain't a part of me". I found myself singing along. "Time", will definitely be re-mixed which it's fine just the way it is. "Sweet Revenge", mmm, I wonder who he was singing this song too. The vocals are great and the music has the Timbaland favor. "Never Far Away", is very Justin Timberlake's "What Goes Around", but works with a dramatic ending.

At the beginning of her young career Ms. Keyshia Cole was compared to the great queen of hip-hop, Ms. Mary J. Blige, as Keyshia has gone on record to say that Ms. Blige and also Brandy have been her biggest influences. However Keyshia's story is a lot different than the 2 ladies of soul that were mentioned.

At the age of 2, Keyshia was adopted because her birth mother had a drug problem. Interesting I believe that this situation prepared her vocally as you can feel the pain in her voice if it's a song about heartache, in the song, "I Just Want It To Be Over."
And yet if she sings a song about happiness, she's able to bring this emotion to the recording studio, make the listening hear and feel it too.

Many have compared her to Mary J.; others have said that she's the replacement, the new queen of hip-hop. I assure you that Ms. Blige has nothing to worry about, as I'm sure that Ms. Cole is comfortable being the princess of hip-hop.

On her third CD, it's like she's blossomed. You hear the maturity and when she hit's the stage, you know it's where she's suppose to be. She's truthful to her audience and she keeping it real. She's also allowed her personal life to be expose on a reality series on BET.
Now her birth mother and siblings are celebrities in their own right. The first CD is, "The Way It Is" which went platinum, second, "Just like You" also platinum and the third, "A Different Me" could perhaps gave the Grammy that she deserves. In the past, she's been nominated for "Best Female R&B" among other awards.

It's refreshing that this young lady is holding in down, in the R&B form. Other R&B divas such as Ms. Gladys Knight, Ms. Millie Jackson, to name a few, I'm sure are proud of this young lady who has a long career a head of her. A natural talent. Kudos to you Ms. Keyshia Cole.

INTRODUCING RECORDING ARTIST, "THE DREAM"

By Entertainment Correspondent, John Frazier

I was doing some research on another artist and fell into this new, exciting, talented recording artist, called "The Dream". Vocally the brother can sing! The lyrics and the music are current with a touch of yesterday, yet pressing on into the future. On the CD of 14 original songs, Mariah Carey is featured on "My Love" and Kanye West on my personal favorite, "Walkin On The Moon", however every song promises to be #1 (not that I like every song but) and I can see next year's Grammy's will definitely find its way to "The Dream".

Refreshing is that this artist is able to express himself without the cussing, and calling our women of color the "B" word. By the way, "The Dream", his born name is Terius Youngdell Nash and he's a Grammy Award winner-singer, songwriter, record producer, entrepreneur and music executive.

"The Dream" was born in Rockingham, North Carolina and moved to Atlanta, Georgia at the age of two. Sadly his mother passed away at the young age of 35 and he was raised by his grandfather in the Bankhead section of Atlanta, GA. His granddad's appreciation for soul music educated a very young Terius.

What I found interesting and impressed me about "The Dream" is that he also plays trumpet, drums and guitar. According to his bio: Musical influences are Prince, Miss Elliott, Tupac Shakur and Aaliyah. Now get this, he's also an accomplished artist who has created paintings, sculptures, his work has been shown in art galleries throughout Atlanta.

Artists and Producers "The Dream" has or is working with:

Rihanna, Mary J. Blige, Celine Dion, Sting, Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Usher, Nicole (PCD), Karina Pasian, Nivea, Lucy Walsh, Brit & Alex, Bayje, Timberland, Tricky, Stewart, Don Vito, Jazzy Pha

"The Dream" also had an issue with the now famous Chris Brown (and Rihanna) But you can google that if you are interested. In the meantime, if you are in the mood to listen to a brother who has real talent, check out "The Dream" at: The Dream Team

FEND BETWEEN BOW WOW & SOULJA BOY?

By Entertainment Correspondent, John Frazier

The all grown up and handsome, with movie stars looks, rapper Bow Wow apologized to his fans and to Soulja Boy. The fend started when Soulja Boy, on YouTube, questioned Bow Wow's "street credit".

Fortunately the two young rappers realized that the fend was senseless and immature. When Bow Wow, appeared on BET's 106 & Park, he again, apologized to his fans as he said, the argument was a friendly challenge that got out of control.

Bow Wow continued, "For us to even do that for the kids and for the people that look up to us, it was just really out of my character and out of his character for us to just display that ignorance like that. I've been put on this earth to entertain my people; to make them scream and holler and not display BS (bulls**t). That's my homie. He's getting money with me, so for that I can't knock him."
It's interesting that only a few months ago, both Bow Wow and Soulja Boy had and have many wondering if the two are bi-sexual, gay or metro-sexual.
Also there's the porn photo that's suppose to be Soulja Boy, where it appears that he's receiving oral services from someone of the same sex. Some of the gay fans are excited about the possibility of Soulja Boy being gay or bi, while others, "straight", are disturbed and in an uproar that we would even print such a story. Bow Wow carrying the man-purse have many readers upset about this, as his sexuality was questioned.

But when you become a celebrity, the rumors start, even the artist management company of the artist may put out a rumor. Speculation and mystery are some of the tricks to packaging a superstar. Also the rules about sexuality and drugs are different for an entertainer as well. Sexual acts, depending on the encounter, are sometimes described "freaky", breaking all the rules.

Now we have Bow Wow and Soulja Boy making up and being nice. Both are sexy, handsome, successful and respected. What's the real story behind this feud? Does anyone know?

SEAN "Piddy" COMBS ON ELLEN'S HOT SEAT

By Entertainment Correspondent, John Frazier

On Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 when Sean " Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, Diddy" Combs appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. The host, Ellen didn't hold back any punches as she questioned the entertainer on his involvement with the Chris Brown/Rihanna saga.

Mr. Combs, at first seemed pissed, as he fired off that the home in Florida is his home and that he can invite whoever he wants!
Ms. DeGeneres continued the questioning, as she asked, "Why?" Why would he provide friendship and shelter? Why would he be instrumental in getting the couple back together?

Diddy didn't give any new information or should I say, he gave no information, he only asked that the public continue to pray for the young couple and to not rush to judgment. He also generalized the Rihanna/Chris drama, by saying that all couples go thought things, "stuff", as he put it.

Ellen looked puzzled, almost like, "What?" but completed her sentence with, "No man should hit a woman." Diddy countered with, "No one should hit anyone."

It has been reported that Rihanna threw the first blow to Chris, when she hit the singer with her hi-heel shoe. Ouch! This is when she got slapped and punched in the face.

People you must stress to your sisters, daughters, the females in your life, that its not ok to slap your partners. Perhaps Chris had been slap before. Had he been hit by Rihanna in the past? Maybe this time he just lost control.

Michael Jackson To Do Last Tour

By Entertainment Correspondent, John Frazier

I was surprised and excited that the King of Pop, Mr. Michael Jackson will kick off a world tour sometime this year, 2009. It will start in London, making it's way around the world, and to the United States. During the interview Mr. Jackson stated that this will be the last tour of his career.

It had been rumored that the talented songwriter, dancer and singer, Mr. Ne-Yo has penned a few new songs for the gloved one.
Painting by Daniel Johnson
The writing skills of Mr. Ne-Yo would be excellent since he sounds somewhat like Mr. Jackson and is responsible for Grammy award winning hits for such artist, Beyonce, among others.

Of course there are many who can't understand the excitement, feel contempt, after the years of bad press and never proven allegations of child abuse. Plus the Howard Hughes rebirth in Mr. Jackson's personality didn't help matters and the marriages and children have always been questionable. Along with "what appears like skin bleaching" and nose reduction hasn't help the mystery behind the man. It's hard to believe that Mr. Jackson is now 50 years old. And for its worth, he's lived a magic and sometimes nightmare kind of a life, however, he's doing it his way, the Michael Jackson way.
